While growing up, Jan saw glamorous brides and opulent extravaganzas while working summers at the Biltmore Country Club in Barrington. Her heart beat a little faster every time. Jan’s love of events took flight.

A Fighting Illini alum, Jan earned her MBA and became a Certified Project Management Professional — a rare combination. For three decades, she managed large-scale projects in the public sector — from vision planning to implementation. While leading dozens of people, attending board meetings, and managing million dollar budgets, she found herself looking more and more forward to weekends — especially during the wedding season. Jan has served as wedding coordinator for St. Patrick Parish since 2015. Her talent for detail had found a home.
